[clap] [clap] [clap] The color matching of the woods on this guitar is simply outstanding (aesthetics is a big thing for me), and the finish is great. I'm going to have to try that Royal Lac.

Excellent Waddy. I love all of it, especially the subtle head blackplate treatment. Outstanding!!!

World Class guitar Waddy!
Fantastic work of art.

I do not like the dust either.
Gets into everything!

Looking really good Waddy

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Waddy, simply stunning! I particularly like the headstock detail.

I just bought a set of Paduak from RC Tonewood. Check out the wild/streaked samples recently added to their online offerings.
